Enjoy comfortable, reliable heat in every room with an air source heat pump

A complete system, designed, installed and maintained for your home.

Fuel free heating

Designed for your home

Lower running costs

Go beyond a like for like replacement

When an oil or LPG boiler comes to the end of its life, the quick answer is another one just like it.

But that ties your home to fuel prices, deliveries and tank levels for another fifteen years. And it keeps you with a system that runs hot then cold, never quite comfortable.

There is a better way to heat a rural home. It starts with looking at the whole picture, not just the boiler.

Most installers will sell you a box. I work out what your home actually needs first, then design the system around it.

I am both an electrician and a heating engineer, so I understand every side of how a home makes heat and hot water. And because I look after the system afterwards too, you are never left chasing someone else to fix it.

Air source heat pump installer, Kent

If your home is off the gas mains, oil and LPG have probably cost you thousands over the years. Prices move, deliveries need managing, and neither system is efficient. Replacing like for like locks you into all of it again.

Elements Heating and Bathrooms designs and installs air source heat pump systems for homes across Kent. We start with a free feasibility survey, calculate exactly what your property needs, then design a system around it. We are MCS registered, so government grant funding is available towards the cost. And because we install, service and repair everything ourselves, there is only ever one number to call.

Frequently asked questions

Will a heat pump work in an older rural home?

In most cases yes, but it depends on the property. That is why we survey first. We measure the heat loss room by room and tell you honestly what would need to change. If a heat pump is not right for your home, we will say so.

How much cheaper is it to run than oil or LPG?

A well designed heat pump delivers around four units of heat for every one unit of electricity. Oil and LPG cannot get close to that. Actual savings depend on your home and how you use it, and we give you real figures after the survey.

What grants are available?

Because we are MCS registered, government funding is available towards a heat pump installation. We handle the paperwork as part of the job.

Do I have to replace all my radiators?

Not always. Some may need upsizing to run at lower temperatures. The survey tells us exactly which ones, so there are no surprises later.

How long does an installation take?

Most take between three and five days on site. You get a clear schedule before we start.

Will I still have enough hot water?

Yes. We size the cylinder around how your household actually uses hot water, not a generic guess.

Are heat pumps noisy?

Modern units are very quiet. We also position them carefully, away from bedrooms and seating areas.

What about servicing and repairs?

We do it all in house. Same team who designed and installed it. No hunting around for someone who understands the system.

How much does an air source heat pump cost?

It depends on the size of your home and the work needed. After the free feasibility survey you get a fixed, itemised quote with grant funding already taken off.
